IRVIN TYAN
A graduate of Stanford University and the University of Michigan Law School, Irvin Tyan has diverse outside counsel experience at large, mid-sized, and boutique firms in commercial litigation and intellectual property, with wide-ranging appearances in federal and state courts, appellate courts, ITC, and JAMS mediation and arbitration. Prior associations include Quinn Emanuel and Farella Braun + Martel. Irvin is licensed to practice before all California state courts, the Northern and Central Districts of California, the Ninth Circuit, and the Federal Circuit. He served as an extern to the Honorable James Ware, former Chief Judge of the Northern District of California.
Irvin has also served as in-house counsel at Doctors' Choice and, more recently, as General Counsel of Xyicon, where he oversaw all legal, intellectual property, compliance, and corporate governance matters for the SaaS software startup.
